‘The world is against you’ (TWIAY for short) is the project of Wellington-based artist Thomas Waddington. The world is against you, brings elements of post-punk rawness with shoegaze walls of sound to help bridge the gap between melody and noise. After emerging in late 2024, The world is against you has gained notable traction within the Wellington underground. Playing a handful of shows, releasing five singles, and starting to prepare the release of a debut 8 track EP. .
