SAILOR BOY - ARTIST

Sailorboy is the Wellington-based hyperpop, glo, and trap project of Daniel Scotson, merging elements of electronica with experimental textures drawn from the online underground scene. Playing within Aotearoa’s vibrant DIY scene, Sailorboy cultivates emotive music that drifts between melancholy and hypnotic, layered intensity.

Since emerging in 2024, Sailorboy has become a fixture in Wellington’s live circuit appearing on a number of underground shows and performing at key venues like Valhalla, often supporting high-energy local lineups.

On stage, Sailorboy performs solo or with a rotating cast of collaborators, translating studio born sounds into immersive, emotionally charged sets.
