PARKFLYERS - BAND

Park Flyers is an Alternative Emo duo formed by Felix Bird (guitar & vocals) and Ezra Beckett (drums, keys & vocals), both originating from Tauranga, New Zealand. Beginning as a side project in 2021, Park Flyers have since moved down to Wellington in February 2024, quickly cementing their spot in the underground music scene.

Their sound is defined by a refusal to compromise, charismatic guitar, driving arpeggios, and blasted vocals, which all hover somewhere between 90s nostalgia and heartfelt screaming.

Since their move, the duo has expanded their local presence from sweltering DIY venues to festivals such as CubaDupa and have even headlined in San Fran, where they have shared the stage with emerging local acts such as Half Angel and the now-defunct Baldleaf. Park Flyers have grounded themselves as one of Wellington's most thrilling and loudest new voices, despite their status as a two-piece.
